Cockburn Lucas are proud to be associated with Maggie’s of Nottingham who we have chosen to sponsor as our main local charity. Many of us have been touched by the reach of cancer and over the years we have seen a number of our clients go through their own personal battles with all that this entails, from diagnosis to the results from treatment and the support required along the way.
What is Maggie’s?
The Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centre’s Trust was founded by Maggie Keswick Jencks in 1995 to provide support for people affected by cancer, their families, carers and friends to empower people to live with, through and beyond cancer. They bring together professional help, communities of support and building design to create exceptional centres for cancer care.
Maggie’s Centres are for anyone affected by cancer. They are places where people are welcome whenever they need help and support – from just being diagnosed, or undergoing treatment, to post-treatment, recurrence, end of life or in bereavement.

Fund Raiser – Robin Hood Half Marathon
Well, they did it! David and Ulrika successfully completed the half-marathon in impressive times of 2:44:52 and 2:02:12 respectively. All at Cockburn Lucas are incredibly proud of their efforts and they have (so far) raised a total of £650.00 for Maggie’s.
